Texas Instruments TPS6206x/TPS6206x-Q1 Step Down DC-DC Converters
Texas Instrument TPS6206x/TPS6206x-Q1 Step-Down Converters are highly efficient synchronous step-down DC/DC converters. These devices provide up to 2A output current. With an input voltage range of 2.9V to 6V, the device is perfect for power conversion from a 5V or 3.3V system supply rail. The TPS6206x/TPS6206x-Q1 operates at a 3MHz fixed frequency and enters power save mode operation at light load currents to maintain high efficiency over the entire load current range. The power save mode is optimized for low output voltage ripple. TPS62065/TPS62065-Q1 can be forced into fixed frequency PWM mode by pulling the MODE pin high for low noise applications. TPS62067/TPS62067-Q1 provides an open drain power good output. In the shutdown mode, the current consumption is reduced to less than 1 µA, and an internal circuit discharges the output capacitor. TPS6206x/TPS6206x-Q1 is optimized for operation with a tiny 1µH inductor and a small 10µF output capacitor to achieve a small solution size and high regulation performance. It is available in a small 2mm×2mm × 0.75mm 8-pin WSON package. The Texas Instruments TPS6206x-Q1 devices are AEC-Q100 qualified for automotive applications.
