Silicon Labs WF200 Wi-Fi® Transceivers
Silicon Labs WF200 Wi-Fi® Transceivers are targeted for applications needing optimal RF performance, low power consumption, and a secure end-to-end solution. The WF200 from Silicon Labs integrates the Balun, T/R switch, LNA, and PA for best possible RF performance. Co-existence with other external 2.4GHz radios are supported.WF200 is optimized for resource and power constrained devices at the RF, protocol and firmware levels. Power-conscious devices take advantage of these features in active and idle/sleep modes.
WF200 provides a secure boot and a secure and encrypted host interface for security-sensitive applications. Robust security is made possible with a native integrated True Random Number Generator and OTP memory for confidential encryption key storage.
The WF200 fits Linux-based and RTOS-based host processors and supports the 802.11 split MAC and the 802.11 full MAC architectures. It communicates with the external host controller over the SPI or SDIO interface.
