TDK InvenSense SmartSonic™ Time-of-Flight (ToF) Sensor Solutions
TDK InvenSense SmartSonic™ Time-of-Flight (ToF) Sensor Solutions feature ultrasonic sensor platforms that provide range-finding, distance measurement, and presence detection. The sensors are housed within an integrated MEMS piezoelectric micromachined ultrasonic transducer (PMUT) and an ultra-low power system-on-chip (SoC) package. The SmartSonic sensors provide a wide sensing capability of up to 5m sensing range in any lighting condition. The sensors are also configurable up to 180°, which allows for a user-customizable field of view (FoV). The TDK InvenSense SmartSonic ToF Sensor Solutions are ideal for various sensing applications, including obstacle avoidance, presence detection, robotics, alternate reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), liquid level sensing, and more.
