TDK MKD AC Gas Capacitors
TDK MKD AC Gas Capacitors are three-phase gas-filled capacitors with a voltage range of 460VAC to 1415VAC. These capacitors feature self-healing properties and are filled with non-flammable nitrogen gas instead of soft polyurethane resin. Ideal for the electrification of mobility and renewable energies, these capacitors suppress harmonic distortion, reducing reactive power at the input and/or the output of inverters. This improves power quality and makes applications such as wind, solar, and industrial drives more reliable. TDK MKD capacitors offer diameters from 75mm to 136mm, heights from 218mm to 351mm, and a lifetime expectancy of 250,000 hours. The winding construction is based on a metalized polypropylene film and has overpressure disconnectors for all three phases, ensuring controlled disconnection for overload events. Cage clamps with M4, M5, or M6 are used as terminals.
