Renesas Electronics Quick Connect IoT
Renesas Electronics Quick Connect IoT is a solution to add wireless connectivity to existing Renesas MCU kits. The boards use a generic interface and are supported by application examples for the respective host MCUs. The boards allow rapid evaluation of wireless communication on various MCUs.
Hardware compatibility issues necessitate modification, sometimes with jumper wires or sometimes requiring a whole board spin, while software portability often leads to increased work and a complex transition. Renesas Quick-Connect IoT aims to solve these issues by providing standard hardware and software building blocks to quickly prototype IoT systems.
