MaxLinear XR2280x Hi-Speed USB to 10/100 Ethernet Bridge ICs
MaxLinear Hi-Speed USB to 10/100 Ethernet Bridge ICs are Hi-Speed USB 2.0 compound devices with an embedded hub and up to seven downstream USB functions. The XR2280x Ethernet Bridge ICs integrate 10/100 Ethernet MAC and PHY, a multi-master capable I2C controller, an Enhanced Dedicated GPIO Entity (EDGE) controller, and up to 4 UARTs. The upstream USB interface of these devices have an integrated USB 2.0 PHY and device controller that is compliant with both Hi-Speed (480Mbps) and Full-Speed (12Mbps) USB 2.0. The vendor ID, product ID, power mode, remote wakeup support, and maximum power consumption are among the values that can be programmed using the on-chip One-Time Programmable (OTP) memory. The XR2280x ICs are compliant with IEEE 802.3 and support auto-negotiation, auto-MDIX, checksum offload, auto-polarity correction in 10Base-T, and remote wakeup capabilities.
The MaxLinear XR2280x USB to 10/100 Ethernet Bridge ICs are available in QFN-32 and QFN-56 packages.
