Kinetic Technologies KTS1673 VBUS Current-Sink Protection Load Switches

Kinetic Technologies KTS1673 VBUS Current-Sink Protection Load Switches feature soft-start, over-voltage protection, reverse current blocking, over-current protection, short-circuit protection, and over-temperature protection. The Kinetic Technologies KTS1673 switches are designed to safeguard systems with USB Type-C™ PD ports and barrel connectors that handle up to 100W at 20V and can tolerate up to 29V on VBUS. The KTS1673A/B models include automatic reverse-current blocking, acting as an "ideal diode" to isolate VBUS during charging or power input from another port. The KTS1673C/D models support bi-directional operation. All versions feature soft-start to limit inrush current with large output capacitors and an ACOK flag that signals good power status. The KTS1673 is housed in a compact, 2.18mm x 1.64mm, 12-bump Wafer-Level Chip Scale Package (WLCSP).
