Analog Devices Inc. LTM4659 10A Step-Down DC-DC μModule® Regulator
Analog Devices LTM4659 10A Step-Down DC-DC μModule® Regulator is available in a tiny 4mm × 4mm × 1.43mm LGA package. The package includes power MOSFETs, the switching controller, the inductor, and all support components. The LTM4659 operates over an input voltage range of 2.25V to 5.5V and supports an output voltage range of 0.5V to VIN when set by external resistors. Its high-efficiency design delivers a 10A continuous output current. Only ceramic output and input capacitors are needed.The Analog Devices LTM4659 employs a Silent Switcher® 2 architecture with internal hot loop bypass capacitors to achieve low EMI and high efficiency at high switching frequencies. The LTM4659 also supports frequency synchronization, multiphase operation, selectable pulse-skipping mode (PSM) operation, and output voltage tracking for supply rail sequencing. Its high switching frequency and current mode architecture enable a swift transient response to load and line changes without sacrificing stability.
Fault protection features include overvoltage, overcurrent, and overtemperature protection. The LTM4659 is lead(Pb)-Free and RoHS-compliant.
