Analog Devices Inc. ADMV8052 Digitally Tunable Band-Pass Filter
Analog Devices ADMV8052 Digitally Tunable Band-Pass Filter is an RF filter with a digitally selectable frequency of operation. The ADMV8052 features three band-pass filters (BPFs) that expand across three specified bands from 30MHz to 520MHz. The operation's center frequency (fCENTER) can be adjusted using an 8-bit value (256 states) incorporating a patented interpolation technique. The typical bandwidth (3dB) is 9%, and adjustability is ±2%. The insertion loss is typically less than 4.5dB, and the rejection is 20dB at 25% away from the fCENTER, ideally suited for minimizing system harmonics. Furthermore, the flexible architecture contains a bypass configuration with a low insertion loss of <1dB.The ADI ADMV8052 filter is a smaller alternative to large switched filter banks and cavity-tuned filters, and it offers a dynamically adjustable solution in advanced communications applications.
