Amphenol Rochester Sensors TLL155 Capacitive Fuel Level Sensors
Amphenol Rochester Sensors TLL155 Capacitive Fuel Level Sensors are designed for use in diesel fuel tanks. These are available with a variable resistive, voltage, or current output suitable for driving industry-standard fuel gauges or connecting into PLCs. The Amphenol Rochester Sensors TLL155 Capacitive Fuel Level Sensors can be cut to length and magnetically calibrated by the end user and are supplied in standard probe lengths of 500mm or 1000mm.
Features
- Fuel level sensor with 5-hole SAE mounting and integrated thread
- Can be cut-to-length and calibrated to suit the fuel tank, making them versatile for all applications
- A simple calibration facility includes an LED to indicate successful calibration
- Voltage, resistance, or current output options
- Solid state, no moving parts to stick or break
- Low profile header
Applications
- Diesel generator fuel tanks (continuous level monitoring with resistive, voltage, or current outputs suitable for control panels and PLCs)
- Industrial fuel storage tanks (remote monitoring and integration into automation or telemetry systems)
- Off-highway machinery (construction, agricultural, and mining equipment where vibration resistance and reliability are critical)
- Marine diesel tanks (low-profile design and cut-to-length probe allow adaptation to varying tank geometries)
- Commercial vehicle fuel tanks (trucks, buses, and specialist vehicles require robust, solid-state sensing with no moving parts)
- Motorsport (SAE 5-hole mounting and a robust, no-moving-parts design make this a popular motorsport choice, with recalibration for different fuel types).
