Amphenol Aerospace SCFF Rugged Optical Transceiver
Amphenol Aerospace SCFF Rugged Optical Transceivers are a 1-channel duplex multi-mode (850nm) on-board transceiver with a 12-pin electrical interface (SMT) complying with SFF-8431 for high-speed interfaces. This transceiver operates at data rates up to 25Gbps in harsh environments, including operating case temperatures of -40°C to +85°C. The rugged SCFF is a “chip-on-board” transceiver leveraging 25Gbps chipsets from the data-com industry (VCSEL drivers, TIA, VCSEL, PIN Diodes). Amphenol Aerospace SCFF Rugged Optical Transceivers are mounted on a PCB using two screws and are solder-mount on the rear connector. The height has been optimized to be lower than 10mm above the PCB to fit the electronic casings.Features
