EPCOS / TDK AEC-Q200 PTC Thermistors are thermally sensitive semiconductor resistors made of ceramic components in which electrical resistance rapidly increases when a certain temperature is exceeded. This feature makes the AEC-Q200 PTC thermistors ideal for use as an inrush current limiter for smoothing DC-link capacitors. EPCOS / TDK AEC-Q200 PTC Thermistors can also replace high-power fixed resistors for capacitor charging.
