TE Connectivity AMP+ HVA 630 High-Voltage Interconnection System

TE Connectivity's AMP+ HVA 630 High-Voltage Interconnection system provides advanced high-voltage protection for an electric vehicle's onboard charging system. These devices are available in 2- and 5-pin options with integrated internal HVIL for package size optimization. The AMP+ HVA interconnection system features up to 60A current, up to 1000VDC voltage, 6.3mm terminals, and 4mm² to 6mm² single- or multi-core wires. Available in 180° header configurations that enable streamlined packaging and routing flexibility and provide tool-free unmating to simplify maintenance. The AMP+ HVA interconnection system offers multiple keying options to reduce the risk of connection errors and a sealed design.

The HVA 630 connectors are 360° shielded to meet EMI requirements, with robust sealing (IP67/IP6K9K), and an in-built HVIL, and Connector Position Assurance (CPA). Typical applications include onboard chargers (AC path, single-phase, or three-phase), DC-to-DC converters, climate control, HVAC systems, heat pumps, high-voltage power steering, and other auxiliary (non-drivetrain) loads.
