L6563H PFC Controller

The STMicroelectronics L6563H PFC Controller operates in transition mode, embedding the same features as the L6563S with the addition of a high voltage (700V) start-up source. The STMicroelectronics L6563H PFC controller is well-suited for applications that need to be compliant with energy saving regulations and have the PFC pre-regulator working as the master stage. The L6563H has a high linear multiplier and a special correction circuit that reduce crossover distortion of the mains current and allow wide-range mains operation with an extremely low THD even over a large load range.
