Current Sensor Evaluation Boards

Allegro MicroSystems  Current Sensor Evaluation Boards offer a convenient method for quickly evaluating Allegro Current Sensors in a lab environment without needing a custom circuit board. These evaluation boards are intended for use with a user-populated Allegro Current Sensor IC.

CTD456 Evaluation Board

Allegro MicroSystems  CTD456 Evaluation Board demonstrates the advantages of the CT456 high dV/dt optimised XtremeSense™ TMR coreless current sensor. This evaluation board supports a ±6mT magnetic field range where the CT456 sensor detects and converts the magnetic field into a linear analogue output voltage. The CTD456 evaluation board achieves a total error output of less than 1% over supply voltage and temperature after calibration. This board offers over -50dB CMR, providing the CT456 sensor with more than 90% immunity to stray magnetic fields, with little or no effect on accuracy. The CTD456 evaluation board offers less than 300ns output response time, while the current consumption is approximately 6mA. This evaluation board operates within a 4.75V to 5.50V input voltage range and –40°C to 125°C input temperature range.
