MP8714 Synchronous Step-Down Converters

Monolithic Power Systems (MPS) MP8714 Synchronous Step-Down Converters are high-frequency rectified switch-mode converters. These converters deliver 10A of continuous output current with excellent load and line regulation over a wide input supply range. The MP8714 step-down converters offer current mode operation that provides a fast transient response and eases loop stabilization. These switch-mode converters feature 200KHz - 2MHz synchronized external clock, open-drain Power Good (PG) indicator, and output Over-Voltage Protection (OVP). The MP8714 Synchronous converters operate within 4.5V to 17V input voltage range. Applications include distributed power systems, flat-panel televisions, and set-top boxes.
