HFC0500 Flyback Controller

MPS® HFC0500 Flyback Controller with internal slope compensation is designed for medium-power, off-line, flyback, and switch-mode power supplies. This controller, at light loads, freezes the peak current and reduces switching frequency to 25kHz offering an excellent light-load efficiency. The HFC0500 controller enters burst mode to achieve very low standby power consumption at very light loads. This controller offers frequency jittering, overpower compensation, and X-cap discharge functions. The HFC0500 features various protections including thermal shutdown, VCC under-voltage lockout, overload protection, over-voltage protection, and brown-out protection.
