ADL5961 Vector Network Analyzer (VNA) Front Ends

Analog Devices Inc. ADL5961 Vector Network Analyzer (VNA) Front Ends are designed to enable broadband multiport network analyzer solutions in a small footprint. These devices are built around an integrated broadband bidirectional resistive bridge coupled with broadband and dual downconversion mixers. The ADL5961 VNA front ends support Local Oscillator (LO) interface configurations that simplify the VNA's clocking design and the devices' interfacing with an Analog-to-Digital Converter (ADC). All functions and configurations in the ADL5961 VNA front ends are fully programmable through a 3-wire Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI). These devices are available in a 3mm x 4mm, 26-lead land grid array (LGA) package. The ADL5961 VNA front ends are used in broadband, multiport vector network analyzers, S-parameter magnitude and phase measurement, reflectometers, and materials analysis.
