TRS213E RS-232 Line Driver/Receiver

Texas Instruments TRS213E RS-232 Line Driver/Receiver consists of five line receivers, four line drivers, and a dual charge-pump circuit with ±15kV IEC ESD protection on the RS-232 bus pins. The device provides the electrical interface between the serial port connector and an asynchronous communication controller and meets the requirements of TIA/EIA-232-F. Four small external capacitors and the charge pump allow operation from a single 5V supply. The devices operate at a maximum of 30V/µs driver output slew rate and data signaling rates up to 120kbit/s.
