Thyristor Triacs for LED Dimmer Applications

Littelfuse Thyristor Triacs for LED Dimmer Applications are specifically designed for the low load current characteristics typical in LED lighting applications. These triacs are specified to perform best with LED loads by keeping holding current at 6mA maximum. The 6mA maximum holding current provides full control of light output at the extreme low end of load conditions with a minimum probability of flickering. Offering di/dt performance of 70A/µs, the thyristor triacs enable survivability of typical LED load operating characteristics. The 110°C rated junction temperature improves the margin of safe operation with fewer heat sinking requirements.
