STEVAL-VP12201F Converter Evaluation Board

STMicroelectronics STEVAL-VP12201F Converter Evaluation Board implements a 12V 5W isolated flyback converter designed for general-purpose applications supplied from 85VAC to 265VAC. The reference design is built around the VIPer122LS offline high-voltage converter from the VIPerPlus family, with embedded 730V power MOSFET and pulse width modulation (PWM) current-mode control. STMicroelectronics STEVAL-VP12201F Converter Evaluation Board features a small size with a minimal BOM, high efficiency, low standby consumption, and tight line and load regulation over the entire input and output range. Extremely low consumption under no-load conditions is ensured due to the burst-mode operation, which reduces the average switching frequency and minimizes frequency-related losses. The VIPer122LS operates at a fixed 60kHz frequency with frequency jittering to meet the standards regarding an electromagnetic disturbance.
