USB Type-C® 3.2 Gen 2 Standard Connectors

GCT USB Type-C® 3.2 Gen 2 Standard Connectors are robust, compact I/O interconnect systems with a reversible mating form factor. The connectors provide fast 20Gbit/s (USB 3.2) speeds, more than 10,000 mating cycles, power up to 5A, 24 contacts as standard, and profiles as low as 3.26mm. Top-mount connectors are soldered to the top side of the PCB. The devices can also be soldered to the bottom of the PCB to take advantage of the USB Type-C reversible interface. For mid-mount versions, a hole is routed in the PCB, and the connector drops onto the PCB top or bottom and is soldered in place. Mid-mount connectors are ideal for super low-profile applications. Vertical-mount plugs and receptacles are simply mounted at 90° on PCBs.
