LP8863-Q1 Display LED-Backlight Driver

Texas Instruments LP8863-Q1 Display LED-Backlight Driver is an automotive high-efficiency LED driver with a boost controller. The six high-precision current sinks support phase shifting that is automatically adjusted based on the number of channels in use. Current sink brightness can be controlled individually and globally through the SPI or I2C interface. The brightness can also be globally controlled with PWM input. The boost controller has adaptive output voltage control based on the headroom voltages of the LED current sinks. This feature minimizes the power consumption by adjusting the voltage to the lowest sufficient level in all conditions. A wide-range adjustable frequency allows the LP8863-Q1 to avoid disturbance for AM radio band.

IS32LT3175N/P Single-Channel Linear LED Drivers

ISSI IS32LT3175N/P Single-Channel Linear LED Drivers come with fade in/out and PWM dimming. The regulators serve as a stand-alone LED driver-configurable from 20mA to 150mA with external resistors, no microcontroller is necessary. A logic level “courtesy light” signal from the PWM pin can be interfaced to precisely drive the LED channel. The IS32LT3175P obtains a positive polarity PWM signal. In addition, the IS32LT3175N obtains a negative polarity PWM signal. The regulator integrates a 63-step fade-in and fades out the algorithm (Gamma correction). This causes the output LED current to increasingly rise up to the full source value after the EN pin is pulsed.
