NX20P5090 Power Distribution Switch

NXP NX20P5090 is a 5A unidirectional power switch for USB power distribution (PD). The NX20P5090 switch is designed to enhance system reliability and provide vital protection in USB PD power control applications. When a fault condition occurs, NX20P5090 will isolate the power switch terminals automatically. The device also features a default 23V overvoltage protection threshold and provides 29V tolerance in shutdown mode for both VBUS and VINT pins. NX20P5090 has a supply voltage range of 2.5V to 20V, making it ideal for smart and feature phones, tablets, eBooks, and notebooks. To support a connection of dual power inputs to one charging circuit, two NX20P5090 chips may be used in parallel. Over-temperature protection, under voltage lockout, overvoltage lockout, and reverse current protection circuits are just a few benefits of the NX20P5090. The power switch is offered in a wafer level chip-scale (WLCSP) package, 15 bumps, 2.56mm x 1.54mm x 0.555mm (LxWxH).
