PTVS20-015C-TH High Current PTVS Diode

Bourns PTVS20-015C-TH High Current Power Transient Voltage Suppressor (PTVS) Diode is engineered for use in high-power DC bus clamping applications. This bidirectional TVS diode comes in a through-hole package and handles a 20kA current surge at a low voltage of 15V. This RoHS-compliant device assists in meeting IEC 61000-4-5 8/20μs current surge requirements, while the epoxy encapsulations meet UL 94V-0 flammability requirements and the silver-plated leads meet JESD22-B102 solderability requirements. Bourns PTVS20-015C-TH High Current PTVS Diode operates in a -55°C to +125°C temperature range and provides electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection in applications needing high-power DC bus protection.

Circuit Protection Devices

Bourns manufactures and supplies a wide range of circuit protection technologies, including fuses, PTC thermistors, varistors, GDTs, resettable thermal cut-offs, surge protection devices, hybrid protectors, discrete semiconductor solutions, and more. Reliable surge protection is a critical design consideration to help ensure operational reliability of consumer electronics, industrial/communication equipment, automotive, battery charging, energy storage infrastructure, and renewable energy harvesting ecosystems.
